The Eurolive VP1220 from Behringer is an 800-watt passive loudspeaker that features a powerful 12″ long-excursion driver and a state-of-the-art 1.75″ titanium-diaphragm compression driver. The VP1220’s trapezoidal design makes it ideal for FOH use as well as floor wedge and side fill monitor applications. Enclosures can be clustered, stacked, or even stand-mounted thanks to the built-in 35mm pole socket.
The integrated overload-protection circuitry makes the VP1220 a reliable speaker choice. The two-way design has a fixed internal crossover point at 2.5 kHz and provides a 55 Hz to 22 kHz frequency range. With adequate power, the VP1220 is capable of creating sound pressure levels up to 93 dB. The enclosure’s rear panel provides paralleled pairs of 1/4″ and speakON NL4 connectors.
The long-excursion low-frequency driver featured in the VP1220 is custom-designed and handmade by Behringer. The VP1220 features a powerful 12″ woofer in a tuned enclosure, providing rich bass all the way down to 55 Hz.
Behringer’s state-of-the-art 1.75″ titanium-diaphragm compression driver delivers natural-sounding highs, with an 70 x 50° sound dispersion pattern.
