The spider-style elastic suspension isolates the mic from vibrations, effectively reducing low-frequency noise from rumble and footfall.

The swivel mount enables easy adjustment of the mic’s angle while it remains cradled in the suspension. The Neumann EA87 U87 Shock Mount For Microphone is outfitted with a 5/8″-27 female thread that can be fastened to most mic stands.
