Derived from their flagship Q Acoustics Q Concept 50 model, the Concept 50 uses HPE technology. With HPE (Helmholtz Pressure Equalizer) technology, distortion is reduced to a minimum.

Larger speaker cabinets can build up pressure in specific areas, causing resonance and cabinet distortion. By equalizing the pressure around the cabinet, the pressure is reduced, giving a less distorted sound.

Advanced cabinet design
A further key to the Q Acoustics Q Concept 50 life-like sound is the cabinet design. Simply put, it’s a cabinet within a cabinet, separated by a special resonance-cancelling compound called Gelcore.
