First off, this TC Electronic Sentry Multiband Noise Pedal houses multiband technology which allows you to carve out the specific frequencies you’d wish to gate from your signal whenever you cease playing.
If you prefer a classic gate to clamp down on your signal once your playing has stopped, the Sentry features a Hard-Gate mode,
which can be used for an immediate cut. Finally, the pedal is Toeprint enabled, meaning you can reshape how the gate responds from a free, downloadable app and instantiate those parameters via USB.
This app carries presets voiced by well-regarded musicians as well.
