Cubasis 3.0.2 is now available, featuring Apple Pencil support, a MiniSampler update and much more.
Steinberg has launched the new version of the Cubasis 3 a digital audio workstation/music creation app designed for iOS mobile devices. As per the company, Cubasis 3 was rewritten from the ground up.
Whats New in Version 3
Some of the new features of Cubasis 3 are as follow:
Improved User Interface
The redesigned Cubasis 3 interface makes creating music on the iPad and iPhone easier, faster, efficient and enjoyable
Group tracks
You can now combine individual track and group them in the Cubasis track list or mixer. Process, edit and mix them as though they were a single track.
Full-screen mixer, zoom modes and level metering
The width and height of the mixer’s channel strips can be easily extended to full screen size.
Up to eight rearrangeable insert and send effects
You now have the ability to up to eight insert and eight send effects with Audio Unit, Inter-App Audio or the internal effects plug-ins. The pre/post fader positions of inserts and effects can be easily rearranged
Vertical Event Coloring
Tracks can be vertically coloured to distinguish individual parts of the timeline with unique color schemes
960 Pulses per quarter note
The new engine now supports 960 pulses per quarter note (PPQN) for detailed editing and precision
Improved MIDI, audio and automation editors
Steinberg has added toolbars in audio, MIDI and automation editors making the editing process faster and efficient
